Hi! I'm Kelly Wilson

Here are my vital statistics:

I was born on October 31, 1964. Yep, I've surpassed the "over forty" threshold and believe this positions me to relate to our younger clients, who are starting on the journey toward the lives they want to live and the maturing clients, who are well along the way.

My First Career
Right out of college I began my professional career with Procter & Gamble. My time there spanned from 1988 to 2001. Working in both Sales and Product Supply Purchasing, I was afforded leadership opportunities that enabled me gain strong coaching skills. At Procter, I led organizations and trained individuals and groups. I learned how to excel at setting and accomplishing the goals of the company and the goals of the people. The corporate world also gave me a venue to mentor both direct reports other employees who did not report directly to me. I even became skilled at "coaching up" to enable my bosses to be better "coaches" of me. One highlight of my time at P&G was becoming one of the first women in Purchases to get promoted to Group Manager while working a 4-day (80%) workweek. That accomplishment, in many ways, affirmed my choice to proactively balance the demands of running my household and the requirements of the office.

Education
I earned both my degrees from University of Cincinnati. The first in 1988, a Bachelors of Arts, in Psychology, and in 1992 a Masters of Business Administration, with in concentration Marketing & Operations Management.

My Family - The Six Ks
I married my college sweet heart, Kenny, in 1990. From the day we first met, we have celebrated each other's successes, supported each other's dreams and endured through tough times, including the death of parents and even the loss of our infant daughter, Kennedy. We hope our marriage is a source of strength not only for us, but also for our children and their children to come. Speaking of our kiddos, I am the proud mom of KJ, Kyler, and Koah. At my age, I have the honor and challenges of parenting a teenager, a preteen and a toddler all at the same time. Each child is smart, funny, healthy, ambitious and full of life. They keep me on my toes and my knees. I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Wilson Tribe (circa 2006) at Delsa's, our favorite mom and pop ice cream shop in Boise, ID, where we lived for eleven months.

Kennedy
Our first daughter, Kennedy Anne Wilson, resides in heaven. She died in 2003 from a serious birth defect when she was just 24 days old. To me, she is one of the most beautiful warriors that ever lived. Her life and death crystallized the foundational principles of Victorious Living.

The Best Me
I am a believer in Christ. He became my savior when I was 11 years old. It took me another 12 years to begin to understand that I should live differently because He is also the Lord of my life. I am grateful for His grace and peace. More than anything else, I want to please Him.

And so...The Birth of Victorious Living

In August 2001, I left P&G to start Victorious Living. Our mission in 2009: to provide practical, Christ-centered, training that enables our clients to thrive in their lives, one day at a time.

We do this by providing our clients with the "tools" and "support" that will enable them to ENVISION, PURSUE and ENJOY the lives that they want to live.

What makes us/me different from the other coaches, trainers and speakers out there?
  1. All of our products and services are rooted in biblical principles. These principles allow us to develop effective tools, models, and goods that really work.

  2. Since many of our offerings are targeted toward women and most of our coaches are women, we can relate to where customers are coming from. We typically share common experiences, hopes and dreams.

  3. Like many of our clients, I have personally faced difficult circumstances. And though on many occasions, I've been down, by grace, I've not been out.

  4. I will pray with and for you.

  5. We will provide candid feedback that will help you get results and reach your goals. We'll be there to encourage and partner with you on the journey. We will hold up the mirror that reflects the your vision, the one that makes your heart sing. If that sounds good to you - Victorious Living coaches and trainers will be a great fit.
Whew! I think that's it in a nutshell. I appreciate your willingness to read this profile. If you have questions - please do give us a shout.
